About Anchored Pastoral Counseling
Anchored Pastoral Counseling uses the counsel of Scripture to assist believers toward depth, maturity, and restoration in their relationships with God and one another. Anchored Pastoral Counseling draws upon the anchoring hope believers have in the promises of God to enable individuals to live life more fully.
What type of services does Anchored specialize in?
Anchored Pastoral Counseling utilizes a biblical or pastoral orientation toward counseling. Although we understand and learn from contemporary counseling theory, we look to the wisdom that comes from God's Word to guide us in dealing with human problems. In addition, we aim to point people to a person, Jesus our Redeemer, and not to a program, theory, or experience as a way to facilitate change. We believe the ultimate source of human change rests in the transforming power of the Redeemer.
Contributions toward Growth
Counseling is a commitment to growth within yourself, your relationships, and your faith. In light of that commitment, as much as possible, each individual should make an equal sacrifice in what he or she contributes to their counseling. We suggest a contribution between $85-$120 for each 50-minute session, depending on your financial situation. If, because of extenuating circumstances you are unable to contribute the amount indicated, please discuss this at your first visit.
Since Anchored focuses on a pastoral based religious approach to counseling and is not medically based, we are currently unable to file claims with insurance.

Jeremiah founded Anchored Pastoral Counseling in 2021. He loves the opportunity counseling provides to help people live life fully as intended by God at creation.
